Lauren and Charlie married at the historic St. Augustine Church in Old City Philadelphia, and celebrated at the Cescaphe Ballroom. Since it was a winter wedding, we decided to take their bridal party photos prior to the Catholic ceremony. Their first look was at Lowe’s Hotel, and included their dog Baci, who was just as excited as the couple! The couple prepped for the ceremony at Lowe’s. Lauren’s hair and makeup were done by Beke Beau and Amanda D’Andrea. Her Maggie Sottero gown from K&B Bridals in Baltimore, Maryland and her cathedral length veil looked gorgeous during the iconic Broad Street photo. A big gust of wind blew her veil right off her head and into traffic. I jumped into the street, halted traffic, and rescued that thing. It didn’t even get dirty! And Lauren took it all in stride. We took family photos at the church, then stopped to shoot photos at the Race Street Peer under the Ben Franklin Bridge on our way to the Cescaphe Event Group’s Cescaphe Ballroom. Cescaphe’s Ballroom was decorated with yellow centerpieces by Beautiful Blooms. A good time was had by all. Lauren’s mom, Midge, tore up the dance floor.
