Gina & Luigi, The Curtis Center

Gina’s says:  We planned for over a year and I can say with confidence, that not one second was wasted as you captured all details large and small.  We are more than pleased with your professionalism, your attention to detail and your incredible skill at photography!  I know when we look back through our wedding album, years from now, that we’ll experience our day all over again because of you…  Thank you, Rebecca!

“Of Course, We are Stopping at Geno’s Steaks!

Gina & Luigi’s fathers were best friends during childhood in a small town in Italy. They each moved to America and bought houses one mile apart.  They started families and Gina & Luigi were born two month apart…so the couple grew up knowing each other. They were never more than friends, until one day Gina drove by Luigi and beeped her horn.  I’m not sure exactly sure what transpired after that fateful car beep, but a few years later on Jan. 9th, 2010, they married at St. Rita’s in South Philadelphia, and had their reception at The Atrium at The Curtis Center. Of course, we stopped at Geno’s steaks! The couple declined a Geno’s Steak, as their wedding reception was to be catered by the Cescaphe Ballroom’s Joe Volpe.

Ask me about my personal theory about how couples proceed down the aisle,  how this visually  represents their relationship!…It’s totally unscientific, but interesting!  I love the way Gina & Luigi are clutched together as they go into their future, but at the same time they are respectful of each other’s individual vision. I particularly love the way Luigi is holding her hand.
